Syrencot House Wedding Photography
Syrencot House is a real hidden gem and one of my favorite luxury Wiltshire wedding venues to photograph. It’s not just the stunning architecture and grounds that make it so perfect, it’s also the attention to detail that makes it such a special place.
Every bride and groom dreams of the perfect venue and Syrencot close to Salisbury is one of them.
A little be of history of the Syrencot.
Being a wedding photographer it is a great way to know some local history. Meeting lovely people and talking to them you can learn a lot! Thanks to them I was able to learn a little bit about this beautiful Wiltshire Wedding Venue.
The first thing that struck me when I first visited Syrencot was its history—it’s been around since the 13th century and has been passed by marriage to the Pallets and eventually bought by Thomas Dyke in 1639. Today’s Country Life sees the launch onto the market of one of Wiltshire’s most intriguing houses, Grade II-listed Syrencot House It’s one of those venues where you can feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but with all the modern comforts you expect from a five-star hotel.
Syrencot was designed strictly for wedding photography.
The second thing I noticed? The grounds are absolutely stunning! If you want your photos to be set against a backdrop of rolling hills and ancient trees, this is your place. There are also beautiful gardens surrounding the house itself, so if you want something more formal and structured for your photos then this is also ideal. And if you want somewhere that looks more natural and wild then there are plenty of places for that too!
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with this venue. When I saw it for the very first time, I was just blown away. It is so stunning in every way. From the orangery ceremony room that’s flooded with light to the bridal prep room that is dripping in soft pastel tones. This is a photographer’s dream venue!
